Role in The project

In this project, UDM provides scientific and technical support for implementing pilot activities in Morocco. It contributes to developing training materials for farmers and students on improved goat breeding, grazing management, and sustainable feeding practices. UDM’s researchers collect and analyze field data, monitor sustainability indicators, and assist in adapting technologies like blockchain traceability for Moroccan goat production systems. Furthermore, the university engages with regional policymakers to advocate for policies that scale successful practices nationwide. By combining research, training, and policy dialogue, UDM ensures that project innovations align with local needs and contribute to Morocco’s rural development goals.
